Team
Helena Regina Fonseca Coelho
Specialist in the practical application of ANP Resolutions, with extensive experience in managing R&D projects in the oil and gas sector. Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from UFF and with a master's degree from PUC-Rio, she also has a specialization in Systems Analysis and Process Modeling.
Since 2017, she has been a managing partner and senior consultant at Inovatus Consultoria, where she develops innovation strategies, strategic planning, fundraising and identification of new R&D projects for companies in the sector. As a consultant and researcher at the Energy Institute of PUC-Rio, she led studies on international technical standardization and explored the potential of photovoltaic solar energy in Brazil. At ONIP, she led R&D projects focused on the oil and gas supply chain and on local content analysis for PETROBRAS, in addition to serving as Technical Secretary of the Brazilian standardization committee.
Yiannis Chanis
Manager with extensive experience in R&D project management, especially for the oil and gas sector, accumulated over more than two decades. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBE in Energy from PUC-Rio, he is certified by PMI as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Since 2017, Yiannis has been a managing partner and senior consultant at Inovatus Consultoria, where he provides hands-on support in innovation management to companies in the sector, conducting risk assessments and R&D best practices, and managing business development and international accounts. In his previous experience, Yiannis worked as a consultant and researcher at the Energy Institute of PUC-Rio, where he developed R&D management practices and conducted research on solar technologies and energy transition. Between 2011 and 2017, he was responsible for process management and R&D project control at CompactGTL, leading commercial demonstration projects and business development initiatives in Latin America.
Diogo Colão
Project and Process Specialist with extensive experience in project management for medium and large companies in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors. Holds a degree in Business Administration from PUC-Rio, a postgraduate degree in Executive Management of Oil and Natural Gas, and a specialization in Project Management.
Since 2024, Diogo has been working as a Project Manager at Inovatus, where he provides hands-on support for R&D projects. In his previous experience as a consultant, he led numerous supplier development projects, integrating over 200 companies into the production chain of major industries. He also worked on strategies for fundraising and Go-To-Market execution, as well as client acquisition and optimization (Farmer and Hunter) for various companies.
Luis Fernando Frutuoso Mendonca
Experienced consultant with decades of experience in the oil and gas sector, standing out for his leadership in the areas of R&D and supply at PETROBRAS. Mechanical Engineer from UERJ and with a degree in Law from FBCJ, he also has an executive postgraduate degree from IBMEC.
Since 2017, he has been a senior consultant at Inovatus Consultoria, where he advises companies on stakeholder management and best practices in R&D contracts, with a focus on the integration and development of technology suppliers in Brazil. In parallel, he works at the Energy Institute of PUC-Rio, managing R&D projects in renewable energy and teaching on Supply Chain Management. Previously, as Superintendent at ONIP, he managed R&D projects and supplier development. At PETROBRAS, he held leadership positions in quality, safety and purchasing, including the presidency of the online purchasing platform, Petronect.
